Description from the seller
For sale: a particularly beautiful and fully hand-built model of a classic beam engine. This type of machine was used in mines and factories in the 18th and 19th centuries, and this model was built around 1920 as a demonstration and teaching model for technical education.
The model originally comes from North Brabant and later came into private hands through a technical school in Friesland. The build quality and detailing clearly indicate craftsmanship — made by students of an experienced instrument maker.
