Superpose, designed by Frederik Kurzweg Design Studio for Normann Copenhagen, draws inspiration from the visual language of classic chandeliers, balancing a sense of majesty with minimalist clarity. The lamp features a steel supporting structure and a white shade composed of three micro-perforated steel plates, each folded at 90° with rounded ends to create a layered, sculptural form. This construction allows the lamp to cast a focused downward light while gently diffusing light throughout the surrounding space, with the perforated metal projecting lively shadows around it. Compatible with halogen or LED bulbs (not included), Superpose is fitted with a textile-covered cable in the same color as the lamp. Whether placed above a table, used as ambient lighting in a corner, or mounted as a ceiling centerpiece, it offers a quiet yet captivating presence both when illuminated and when switched off.
