Description from the seller

Stunning bronze replica of a Cycladic idol, a type of figurine characteristic of the early Greek Bronze Age.

The original, mostly marble, figurines date from approximately 3300 to 1100 BC.
They were found on the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea.
Most of these abstract, geometric figures are women with their arms crossed.
They are often interpreted as symbols of fertility, guides for souls in the afterlife, or divine nurses.
