Ziggy table lamp designed by Nir Chehanowski for Studio Cheha (Denmark), in birch wood, acrylic and steel, 42 cm high, 27 cm wide, 15.5 cm deep, 467 g, white, modern minimalist style, circa 2000–2010, in working order and in good used condition with minor signs of age.
Description from the seller
This is a creation of the 'Ziggy table lamp', a design by Nir Chehanowski for Studio Cheha, one of the studio's best-selling creations. This table lamp is intended to function as a desk lamp but can also be used as a nightlight. A flat sheet of clear acrylic is carefully laser-engraved and mounted on a birch wood arm and steel base. When illuminated, the LED light travels through the lines, suggesting the shape of a traditional table lamp. It is a brilliant challenge to our perception of 3D objects.
The LED lamps have a lifespan of approximately 50,000 burn hours.
You can connect the LED lamp to the computer or simply via the power outlet. These lamps are the bestseller at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
Dimensions: H 42 cm x B 27 cm
Base footplate Ø 15.5 cm
Weight: 467 grams
This object has been cleaned, and as a result, the label is no longer present, but fortunately, I have still added a photo of it. The lamp comes from Denmark and embodies the beauty of imperfection: authentic pre-owned vintage with patina and its own history, carefully selected.
It is shipped with smart shipping, safely packed, and sent registered and insured.
