LEGO 6972 – Polaris I Space Lab – 1987 – Complete with manual and three minifigures

For sale is a classic Space model from the late 1980s: the LEGO 6972 Polaris I Space Lab, released in 1987. This is one of the larger sets from the Futuron space theme line and is loved for its striking color combination, transparent blue panels, and the large moon landscape baseplate. The set is complete and includes all parts associated with this model, including those that are now hard to find, such as the special transparent panels, black connector arms, and the integrated moon baseplate.

The accompanying building instructions are present and in good used condition. The set includes three original Futuron minifigures, also in neat condition. For a set of this age, it still looks surprisingly fresh visually. The white of the elements is slightly yellowed, but for a set over 35 years old, this remains very limited and uniform.

This Polaris I Space Lab set presents itself as a complete and well-preserved specimen from the classic LEGO Space era. All functions of the model are intact, and the set is suitable for both display and collection.
