Description from the seller

Automatic stamps trial release aCON
Machines placed in Brussels at De Brouckère.
With an image of the Pink Anemonefish for the national post.
from the Yellow Coral Butterfly for Europe and the rest of the world.
On May 10, 2011, at the Brussels De Brouckère post office.
Two Acon machines have been put into use.
It was notable that the printing of the two machines was different.
The automatic door at the entrance of the post office had a heavy push.
with Linotype Aroma Nr.2 font.
These automatic stamps received an A-number in the OPB.
The automatic machine inside a post office had a finer print in Arial font.
In the OBP designated with a B-number.
It was only discovered during the course of the first day that there were different fonts.
bpost had already adjusted the software on the same day.
so that the Linotype Aroma Nr.2 typeface worked in both machines.
On May 10, an event also took place in Brugge, and on May 13, in Antwerpen.
Automat has been put into operation.
These machines also operated with the Linotype Aroma Nr.2 typeface.
It is clear that the automatic stamps with the Arial font are quite rare.

We now offer exclusively:
a set of four postage-paid values
Score 1 and Score 2 (domestic) and Score 1 Europe and Score 1 World.
with Linotype Aroma Nr.2 font.
A set of four values of postfris.
Score 1 and Score 2 (domestic) and Score 1 Europe and Score 1 World.
with Arial font.
The difference in figures is clearly visible in the photos.

The catalog value of the OBP 2026 of the two sets together amounts to €970.
This is a more than reasonable catalog value!

Seller's Story

VIGFILA has automatic stamps as a specialty. AuToMaatzegels (= ATM) are stamps from automatic distributors. They were first used in France on March 1, 1969 in Montgeron. These automatic stamps are equated by the postal service with ordinary stamps. At the 1984 UPU Congress in Hamburg, automatic stamps were defined as 'stamps printed by electronic distributors'. The automatic stamps are therefore valid indefinitely, can be used anywhere in a country and can be canceled like ordinary stamps. They differ from ordinary postage stamps only in one respect: namely, the user himself chooses the value of the stamp. It is therefore not logical to attach great importance to this value. That is why most ATMs are collected in their smallest value. It also happens that there is a collection per set; these are ranges of 3 or 4 ATM. These usually represent the 3 or 4 most common postal rates.
