Huge XL Spinosaurus, dinosaur tooth 5.2 inches - Fossil tooth - 134 mm - 41 mm

A huge XL Spinosaurus tooth, unearthed in the legendary Kem Kem beds in Morocco. This tooth features beautiful red enamel with the typical vertical striations and belonged to a very large adult animal. A piece for any collector.

Spinosaurus aegyptiacus

Fossil remains were discovered in 1912 and officially named Spinosaurus aegyptiacus in 1915. Only part of the skeleton is known, making it difficult to determine exactly what this species looked like. However, it is clear that the skull resembled that of a crocodile, well adapted for firmly grasping smaller prey. On its back, it carried an enormous sail. Scientists still disagree on the purpose of this sail, whether Spinosaurus primarily ate fish or land animals, and how long it could grow. Modern estimates place its length between fourteen and eighteen meters.
This tooth belonged to a large adult animal. It is completely authentic, with only one small glued crack near the tip. Dimensions: 134 mm long × 41 mm wide.
