The Tridacna Gigas is the largest living bivalve mollusk; it belongs to the family Cardiidae.
Its shell can weigh over 200kg, measure more than 120cm, and live for over 100 years. It has 4 or 5 large flaps, is white externally, while inside it features shades of yellow.
It belongs to protected species, endangered due to intensive exploitation for both collection and culinary use (its adductor muscle is considered an aphrodisiac).
This resin copy is a perfect decorative object for hotels, restaurants, tourist villages, and reception halls.
