Terre a Nordest, Friuli Venezia Giulia is a 172‑page Italian‑language photography book, first edition in paperback, signed by multiple renowned Italian photographers.
Description from the seller
Unobtainable copy with multiple signatures from the greatest Italian photographers of this region in Northeast Italy, which includes Friuli and part of Veneto stretching from the mountains to the sea. This book also features contributions from Gabriele Basilico on the city of Trieste, as well as a unique image by Piergiorgio Branzi, who photographed the interior of Pier Paolo Pasolini's house in Casarsa. It contains 170 pages and over 150 photographs in black and white and color. The book also includes photographs by Luca Campigotto, George Tatge, and Marco Zanta. An introductory text in Italian by Italo Zannier and photographer biographies at the end of the book.
To view the photographic series in full screen, double-click on a photograph, then you can return to the standard display at any time.
The book is derived from an exhibition organized on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of an earthquake that struck the region, and it includes a chapter on the assessment of the reconstructions. Italo Zannier provides a brief history of photography in the North East and presents this photographic campaign, which allowed each photographer to depict the territory—from the mountains to the plains and the sea—in their own way. Guido Guidi photographed anonymous constructions and industrial residues, while Elio Ciol captured the gentle landscape of the hills, and Gabriele Basilico photographed the port of Trieste (see Porti di Mare...).
Book from my personal collection in very good condition, preserved with the utmost care (slight trace of impact on the upper right corner that does not affect the photographs at all, see photo). Shipped securely with reinforced packaging and guaranteed international tracking. For multiple purchases, combined shipping is possible with a refund of the excess postal fees paid via Paypal.
1,250 kg excluding packaging.
