Eye of Horus in finely glazed faience, with incised relief decoration.
Egypt, New Kingdom, 1580/1085 BC.
Drilled longitudinally
Dimensions: 21 mm x 14 mm - Perfect condition, pretty glaze color.
In ancient Egyptian imagery, the Eye of Oudjat is a protective symbol representing the Eye of the falcon god Horus.
These small objects, finely decorated and culturally rich, hold a profound place in the symbolism and spirituality of ancient Egypt.
