This book was created from photographic residencies initiated by a cultural association in the province of Cuneo (South-Western Piedmont, bordering France). It brings together three Italian photographers: Olivo Barbieri (11 photographs), Gabriele Basilico (20 photographs), and Franco Fontana (45 photographs). The book also features a photographer from the province of Quebec in Canada: Jocelyne Alloucherie; two French photographers: Alain Balzac and Michel Séméniako; a German photographer: Ralph Hinterkeusen; and Karen Knorr, an Austrian photographer: Stephen Roach. All these photographers have highlighted, each in their own way and with their personal photographic style, the landscape of this part of Piedmont, including both the natural landscape and the patrimonial or urban landscape.
