A superb Georgian early 19th century cut crystal carafe with silver stopper, measuring 21cm in height and weighing 514g, decorated with carved arched columns under three-ringed neck. Estimated age: Circa 1800-1830.

The silver stopper is a replacement, stamped with Dutch assay marks for sterling .925 silver, year letter D for 1988 and maker´s mark CB2.

Condition: Overall good, a few minor chips to the glass, no further significant damages or repairs. There are two long, thin air bubbles in the glass at the neck level, see photographs. These are absolutely not cracks. Minimal wear commensurate with age.

This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
