Senegal Parrot - Poicephalus senegalus - 22×9×11 cm

We offer at auction a refined preserved specimen of the Senegal Parrot, a species native to West Africa and particularly appreciated for its vibrant colors and sociable temperament. The specimen presented belongs to the subspecies Poicephalus senegalus senegalus, recognizable by its characteristic orange-yellow chest in a 'V' shape and its intense green body plumage.

This individual is distinguished by:

Excellent condition, with compact and bright plumage that faithfully maintains the typical color distribution of the species.

Pose natural and harmonious, with an intact dark grey beak and correctly positioned legs, suggesting a high-quality taxidermy intervention.

Realistic glass eyes that enhance the expressive features typical of the Senegal Parrot.

Correct size for the species, with an overall length of around 23 cm, in line with adults in nature.

Very recent preparation in perfect condition.
