Description from the seller
Exceptional and rare Limoges coffee service (32 pcs), M de M – Mandavy de Mavaleix, France, ca. 1910–1920.
Fine French hard-paste porcelain with crisp raised relief, wreath-and-garland décor and hand-applied 24K gilt accents.
A refined early-20th-century Limoges service, notable for its sharp moulded relief on cups and saucers — a feature rarely preserved in such clean and crisp condition.
The elegant laurel-wreath border in soft green tones, combined with delicate hand-gilded rims and handles, reflects the late Art Nouveau / transitional Jugendstil aesthetic typical for Mandavy de Mavaleix.
