History of creation: The hot water bottle lamp gets its name from a popular French card game called 'bouillotte,' which originated in the 18th century and proved its popularity throughout much of the following century. Often made of brass, this table lamp typically consists of two to five candle holders extending from a rounded base. These supports extend from the core of the lamp to essentially form a candelabrum.
