Campo del Cielo iron meteorite specimen from Chaco, Argentina, weighing 10,153 g with dimensions 220 × 197 × 115 mm.
Description from the seller
This meteorite originates from a strewing field in Argentina, located approximately 1,000 kilometers northwest of Buenos Aires. The Campo del Cielo meteorite group fell to Earth about 4,000 to 5,000 years ago and is known for its large iron-nickel meteorites.
The Campo del Cielo meteorite has a dark gray to black, rugged surface formed by intense heat and pressure during entry into the Earth's atmosphere. Often, the surface features melt crusts and regmaglypts, which appear as flat, finger-like indentations created by air friction during the fall. These characteristic features give the meteorite a rough and primitive appearance.
Metaphysically considered, meteorites are generally regarded as powerful energy stones that promote transformation and spiritual growth. They are said to support the bearer in breaking old patterns and discovering new paths. Iron meteorites like the Campo del Cielo are often used to provide grounding and protection while simultaneously integrating cosmic energies into the physical body.
