This object is a children's toy whistle. It is an archaeological find dating from the 15th century or the (post) medieval period.
Details
Dimensions: (L) 20x10 mm (R) 18x9 mm
Function: Blowing into the hole causes the object to produce a whistling sound. In the last images, you can clearly see what a pristine example looked like. By the way, one whistle still works, so you can experience the original sound from back then yourself.
Material: These specific specimens are made of tin, as was often the case with such finds.
Decorative features: The object has engraved, geometric or floral patterns on the surface, which is characteristic of this period.
