Mexican sterling silver brooch – 925 – with chrysoprase – 16.2 g – 4.5 × 3.5 cm

Beautiful vintage Mexican brooch, made of sterling silver (925) and featuring a large, oval-cut chrysoprase in a smooth cabochon setting. The vibrant green hue of the stone is beautifully complemented by the elegant, handcrafted silver border with dome and scroll decorations — typical of traditional Taxco craftsmanship.

The brooch is marked with STERLING 925, the Eagle 2 hallmark, and the maker's mark DMC, indicating production in Mexico between approximately 1950 and 1970. Thanks to its sturdy pin construction and an extra loop on the back, the piece can be worn both as a brooch and as a pendant.

The whole is in beautiful vintage condition, with light signs of use appropriate for its age.
