Art Deco green-p patinated metal sculpture on a Belgian black marble base, produced circa 1930, signed by Max Le Verrier, France, 41 cm high, 30 cm wide and 9 cm deep.
Description from the seller
Rare and antique version of the statue 'Corinthe,' designed and produced by artist and publisher Max Le Verrier.
The artwork depicts a nude female figure eating from a bunch of grapes, measuring large (height 41cm).
Firmly attached to the marble base 'Max Le Verrier' through engraving, as shown in the photo.
The statue is mounted on a Belgian black marble base.
It presents in good overall condition, with some signs of age on the patina, signed on the base, 100% original, dating from around 1930.
Mounted on black marble from Belgium, the statue is made of green patinated metal, with a beautiful patina acquired over time.
Made by the prestigious foundry 'Max Le Verrier'.
