Set of 3 vintage promotional lighters – Venezuelan automotive – Atlas Lite / Dragon / MYA (1950s-60s)
Description
Set of three vintage mechanical lighters (machuelos), all featuring advertising from automotive sector companies in Caracas, Venezuela.
Ideal pieces for collectors of classic lighters, petroleum memorabilia, or items related to Latin American automotive history.
The lighters show signs of use, wear, and patina typical of age. Their functionality has not been verified. They are offered as collectible items, not as operational lighters.
Lighter 1 – 'Repuestos Autolar'
Lighter brand: Atlas Lite (inscription visible on the lid).
Probable origin: United States or Japan (Atlas Lite was produced in both sites).
Estimated decade: 1950–1960.
Advertising: 'Repuestos Autolar' – Caracas.
Design: Metal case with a raised brick pattern motif and an enameled front plate.
Lighter 2 – 'Venezuelan Technique Motor C.A.'
Lighter brand: Dragon (marked on the base with 'DRAGON – PAT. 492587').
Probable origin: Japan (Dragon manufactured lift-arm type lighters in the 50s-60s).
Estimated decade: 1950–1960.
Advertising: Automotive company with a technical illustration of an engine.
Metallic casing with advertising on a gold/cream plaque.
