These lapis lazuli long earrings are part of Wire Wrap Gemstones Collection. In this collection the artist has combined sterling silver wire with vivid colourful gemstones. The design of these bohemian dangles is simple yet beautiful! Each earring measures 6.6cm length and 3.7cm width.
Lapis lazuli is a deep-blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone that has been prized since antiquity for its intense blue color. Lapis Lazuli is a powerful crystal considered to activate the higher mind and enhance intellectual ability.
About the artist
Kostis Bacharidis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece where he currently lives and works as a jewellery designer since 2012. He graduated in 2006 from the Department of History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology of the University of Thessaly but his true love for arts and creativity led him to silversmithing. Today in his workshop he transforms various metals into modern jewellery, giving each one a unique identity. He uses mainly silver, gold and natural stones to create one-of-a-kind pieces. All his jewellery is totally handmade and cannot easily be found in the world of mass-produced merchandise.
