Glas dropper bottle in bluish-green translucent verre, ancient Roman culture, 79 × 46 × 46 mm, dating to the 3rd–5th century BC, produced in Syria and acquired in 2024 from a French private collection via a auction house.
Description from the seller
Dropper-type bottle with an ovoid molded body decorated with chevron patterns. The decorations consist of parallel zigzag lines.
Flattened and slightly concave bottom in its center, made of translucent greenish-brown glass, with the presence of earthy deposits.
Funnel-shaped embouchure, rounded lip, cylindrical neck constricted at the base and equipped with a dropper device inside.
