Set of 3 Roman bronze knee-fibulae – 2nd–3rd century AD
Beautiful group of three original Roman bronze knee-fibulae, used as clothing clasps for cloaks and tunics. Characteristic features include the powerful bow shape, the disc and knob finish, and the solid construction of the needle attachment. This type is commonly found in military or provincial contexts.
Material: bronze
Dating: circa 2nd to 3rd century AD.
Condition: archaeological state with authentic green patina. The pins are partially stabilized or restored, which is common for this type of fibula. No active corrosion, no damaging cleaning.
Origin: old European private collection (legal collection history).
Are carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
