Vintage industrial look. Tool.

The typewriter was produced in 1935 in Germany by Wanderer Werke, the same manufacturer that also produced the famous German Audi machine. These typewriters (CONTINENTAL) dominated a very large market and competed with American typewriters. They even made models with the Cyrillic alphabet. They are sturdy machines with good handwriting, but quite heavy.
Serial number: S121916 circa 1920
The dimensions of this typewriter are:
39 x 25 x 34 cm
and a decorative ornament weighing approximately 13 kg.

Valuable collectible object with a chrome finish and paint in good condition. The founders of this factory (Winkinofe and Jaenicke) used the name Wanderer, after the translation of the word Rover, the symbol that the Englishman John Kemp Starley gave to their bicycles. The CONTINENTAL typewriters, produced by the Wanderer factory until World War II, were the most renowned typewriters sold both domestically and abroad.
Equipped with a new type of strap and still working.
It is suitable for various decorations, desks, side tables, coat racks, flower tables, etc.
It is shipped very well packed and insured.
