This type of machine was used in administration, stores, and offices before the advent of electronic calculators. A sturdy, industrial device with a beautiful retro appearance.
The machine has been tested and is working: the buttons respond well, and the printer mechanism operates as intended. The original paper roll is still present, which makes this unit extra authentic.
On the metal plaque on the side, it says 'Motore Universale – Volta 110–220,' characteristic of Italian and German electromechanical office equipment from this period. The casing is made of sturdy metal and bakelite, typical of the post-war office industry.
