Description from the seller

This is a composite Russian Orthodox icon (of several saints), from the 19th century, painted in tempera on wood. It features a typical format called 'Deesis and saints selected': it depicts Christ and the Virgin at the top, along with saints especially venerated by the family or the region of the original owner.

Top row

Mother of God (Bogoroditsa / Theotokos)

Christ – probably the Descent into Hell / Resurrection (the central scene references the Voskresenie, as the title indicates)

San Nicolás the Thaumaturge (to the right)

central row

San Basilio el Grande (Βασίλειος)

Saint Zósima of Solovki (Venerable Zósima)

San Jorge or San Fiódor — it seems that Феодор is read as Федоръ.

Lower row

Saint George on horseback defeating the dragon (one of the most common scenes)

Santa Paraskeva (Параскева) — highly venerated in Russia

Santa Kyriake / Ciríaca (Ciriaca – 'Cikia pr.' in the inscription)

At the top, it reads (in Old Russian):

Resurrection of Christ and Saint Nicholas
The Resurrection of Christ and Saint Nicholas.

This confirms the main theme: Resurrected Christ with protecting saints.
