Beautiful pair of antique 1st grade Sterling silver candlesticks in Corinthian style, beautiful high column model trimmed with pearl edges.

They are the same and both fully approved but with a different maker and date letter:
- Master's mark JA TS = probably John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater, the other master's mark has faded.

- Date letter S for 1893 and date letter b for 1897

Heights 24.5cm and 24.3cm. ...there's a 2mm difference. This is because there's more filling in the base of each candlestick, making it somewhat heavier.
Foot size 10.6cm x 10.6cm.
Weighing 792 grams and 615 grams gross. They are weighted at the base, but they are sturdy candlesticks regardless.

They are in good condition with normal light age-related signs of wear.
There are light dents in the foot and light scratches on the bobeches.
