Description from the seller
Original edition of this remarkable history of photography, excellently documented and illustrated.

In summary: The Age of the Daguerréotype and Calotype. The Era of Collodion. The advent of gelatin-bromide and Anastigmat. The Moving Image. Modern Techniques. Creation of photomechanical processes. The search for relief. Photogrammetry and aerial photography. Exploration of the infinitely small and the invisible. Telephotography and the 'belinogram'.
