Phosphate mines, Morocco
These are enormous specimens of the extinct Prognathodon anceps, a large marine reptile from the Cretaceous period. Note that the genus name of this mosasaur has changed from Mosasaurus to Prognathodon.
Sharks must have been afraid of these creatures! Found in the phosphate mine region of Khouribga, Morocco. Huge mosasaur vertebrae from the hero of Jurassic World!
