Ring with a Roman rock crystal bead. The rock crystal is wire-wrapped on a contemporary ring. The ancient bead is restrung with modern materials and fittings, making it suitable for modern wear while preserving its historical charm.
Outside diameter: ± 24,8 mm
Inside diameter: ± 21,7 - 16,3 mm
Diameter bead: ± 14,2 mm
Condition: good condition and wearable. The ancient bead is restrung and combined with modern gold-plated materials and fittings. Signs of wear consistent with age and use. See images.
Composed with beads originating from various old collections, acquired in the UK between 2016-2024.
Every ancient bead shows subtle variations and signs of age, reflecting its history and adding to the unique charm of every composition.
