A ROMANO-BRITISH PATERA HANDLE IN THE SHAPE OF A DADOPHOROS
Roman, 3rd – 4th cent. A.D. / Terracotta /
H = 10 cm (4 in)

Anthropomorphic designed handle of a terracotta patera.

Condition:
Minor lacuna in the base. Interior sintered.

Provenance:
Swiss priv. coll. Bonsera, Basel.
Said to be found fieldwalking inNorth Norfolk, UK, 2008.
Ian Wilkinson collection, Nottinghamshire.

Accompained by an illustrated declaration by Dr. Raffaele D’Amato.
