A ROMAN DIMPLED GLASS BEAKER
Roman, Eastern Mediterranean / 2nd – 3rd cent. A.D. / Glass /
D = 9 cm (3 1/2 in) ; H. 2 7/16 in; 6.2 cm

Cylindrical body made of white glass with silver iridescence. Seven shallow depressions in the wall. Base slightly arched. Delicate trailing at the rim.

Condition:

Minor lacuna in the base. Interior sintered.

Provenance:
With Hôtel Drouot, Auction 22./23.04.2001, lot 576.
