Caldas Complex, Middle Cauca Region.

Solid pottery, retablo type seated figure, resting both hands on his legs.
Wide rectangular head with incised simple slit eyes and mouth and large angular nose.
Several perforations along his forehead and top of head and chest, most likely used for securing decorative elements such as feathers.
Overall scattered areas of mineral deposits.
Figure repaired from original pieces, with old restoration on the break lines, some break lines visible.

Time period: Ca. 1000 - 1400 AD
