Colorful desk set designed by Bandai Design and manufactured by Satellite in Japan, dating from around 1980.
Description from the seller
Superb colorful desk set, in puzzle form, never opened!
This set was designed by the Japanese design company Bandai Designs and manufactured in Germany by Satellite, for the Dutch museum Boijmans Van Beuningen.
Manufactured in the 1980s, this set includes:
- 2 pens; green and red.
1 mini stapler, blue
- 1 measuring tape, yellow and red
- 1 blue eraser
- 1 empty storage case, exterior green, interior red
A pair of scissors, red
1 ruler, blue
1 green loupe
1 cutter, black
- 1 pair of tweezers, green
1 perforator, yellow
- 1 red stapler case (includes mini staples)
A small dispenser for adhesive tape, blue and red, including yellow tape.
Excellent condition, like a new car. The only minor defects are either original or caused by time.
It was designed to resemble a Tangram puzzle — entirely in the style of Memphis Milano, a movement founded by Ettore Sottsass with Nathalie du Pasquier, Michele De Lucchi, Matteo Thun, Marco Zanini, Aldo Cibic, Andrea Branzi, Shiro Kuramata, Michael Graves, Peter Shire.
Also recall the forms and colors of the De Stijl movement by Gerrit Rietveld.
I can send via Mondial Relay if you prefer.
The object is located in Brussels, Belgium.
