This is a large 51-piece assortment of vintage Japanese woodcarving tools, collected over several decades and featuring a variety of makers, shapes, and handles.
The tools include pieces from well-known Japanese carving tool manufacturers such as:

Tsubosan / Tsunago (“ツボ印”)

Sakura Crepas (“サクラクレパス はんが彫刻刀”)

Etsugo (“五ツ彫刀”)

Additional tools with hand-carved kanji inscriptions

Mixed sets in original boxes, including vintage plastic and wooden cases

These tools appear to date mainly from the Showa period (1950s–1980s) based on the packaging styles, wood type, and typography found on the handles.

The lot includes a wide range of blade types:
flat chisels, U-gouges, V-gouges, round chisels, angled chisels, detail knives, and several larger professional blades. Some tools show oxidation or patina consistent with age, while others remain in clean, well-preserved condition.
A terracotta carving stand is also included.
