Description from the seller

Kazak rug with a breathtaking floral motif, natural vegetable dyeing, hand-knotted, measuring 230x158 cm. Very fine hand-knotted. Excellent condition, well maintained. Unusual color combination with cream, beige, gray, and brown.
Kazak rugs
Kazak rugs are durable and vibrant wool carpets, known for their unique geometric patterns, balanced colors, and exceptional craftsmanship. They will create an engaging and culturally rich atmosphere in your space. Originating from the Caucasus and among the oldest types of carpets, they are now mainly made by Kazak artisans in Tunisia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. An ancient Kazak rug can be highly valuable for collectors.
Caucasian rugs are made in one of the two main rug-producing regions of Central Asia (the other being Turkmenistan), both of which are known for the high quality of their nomadic tribes' weaving.
Caucasian rugs, with their creative and distinctive use of colors, simple yet elegant children's figures, and expressive, richly decorated borders, are a welcome addition to any room in the house.
Antique object collectors from around the world will proudly display them, either like tapestries or in less frequented areas of the house, presenting them as a true showcase of artistic expressions rarely seen nowadays.
