Description from the seller
Marantz 2220B Stereo Receiver
The Marantz 2220B is a classic vintage AM/FM stereo receiver from Marantz’s golden era of hi-fi. With its warm, musical character, elegant front-panel styling, and analog charm, it appeals to audiophiles who appreciate vintage gear with genuine sonic personality. The 2220B combines a sensitive tuner section and a modest but very musical amplifier stage — ideal for smaller rooms or lower-efficiency speakers.
This receiver features a brushed-metal faceplate, illuminated tuning dial, and (in original or restored units) fine wood-side panels or cabinet. Controls include bass, treble, balance, loudness, mode (mono/stereo), muting, and tape monitor, plus input selector switches. The tuner section supports FM (with stereo reception) and MW (AM) bands, with analog tuning and signal strength/tuning indicators. Internally, the circuitry is of the era—discrete transistors (no integrated amplifiers as in modern gear)—which contributes to its character.
To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding. We mainly use plastic to fill up the package; if you wish differently, please contact us. The package is shipped insured to protect both the buyer and seller. For further packing requests, please message after purchase. Photos serve as additional descriptions of the product condition / condition of display & LEDs. Please review them carefully before purchase. Orders to islands or special destinations have a higher shipping cost, for example; Canary Islands.
