Description from the seller
“LE RETOUR DU PRINCE” – Ultra Limited Art Edition (10 copies)
Artist: SKE
Dive into the timeless legend of Japanese animation with The Return of the Prince, a powerful and iconic work signed by SKE.
This creation pays direct homage to the heroic epic of Goldorak, through a masterful composition inspired by the original posters of the 70s–80s: vintage grain, period wear, bold colors, solemn staging, and epic breath.
SKE captures here the mythical moment of the hero's return and the face-to-face with the ultimate enemy. The Prince stands alongside the steel titan, under the overwhelming gaze of the master of dark forces, in a scene charged with tension, nobility, and destiny. The mountainous background and aerial flotilla reinforce the atmosphere of final conflict.
A work that merges pure nostalgia, mythic power, Japanese pop culture, and contemporary street-pop aesthetics.
Ultra Limited Edition: Only 10 copies
This selection belongs to the most exclusive circle of SKE editions.
10 copies worldwide, numbered and signed by hand.
No reissue, no variations, the print run is permanently locked.

Each piece becomes a true cult object, coveted by enthusiasts of Japanese animation, vintage manga, and contemporary art inspired by pop culture.

Bio Artist
SKE is a self-taught French artist and versatile creator who grew up immersed in the culture of the 80s and 90s, inspiring a large majority of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE's reputation is experiencing a remarkable rise. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master competition (2023), and later named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as 'Artist of the Month' by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, cementing his position on the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE is also establishing himself in the digital artwork market, a major trend of the last two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations among collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and a play of textures characterize a style that is now essential.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to initiate or enrich a collection with a rising star.
Recognized & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A universe between heritage and modernity. SKE's work is part of a prestigious lineage. His style reflects the visual effectiveness of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while also incorporating the subversion of Banksy or pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai's The Great Wave, or Picasso's deconstructed forms, confronting them with a modern urban aesthetic similar to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
Pop culture & nostalgia Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. It depicts the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Gameboy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Sacha), and Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The symbol of the dollar coexists with logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the 'Hype' aesthetic: featuring the sneaker universe (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass consumption icons like Coca Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes reminiscent of Jeff Koons' glossy surfaces or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
