Eritrea (British Occupation) – 1950, express aerogram sent to Rome – Rare mixed franking with Sorani certificate

Exceptional cover traveled from Asmara (Eritrea) to Rome, dated January 16, 1952, sent by airmail and express.

Postage consisting of stamps from the British Occupation in Eritrea (1950), with overprints 'B.A. Eritrea', including:
40 cents on 5 pence Bruno.
50 cents on 6 pink pence
1 shilling at Bistro Bruno
5 shillings or 5 rosso
• 10 shillings on 10 oltremare (in a vertical stripe of three)

For a total of 36 shillings and 90 cents, the correct rate for an express aerogramme sent directly to Italy.
Clear circular cancellation 'Asmara / Eritrea – 16.1.52'.

On the front, there is a label 'BY AIR MAIL' and a vignette 'ESPRESSO – EXPRESS' in red.

The envelope is authenticated by Silvano Sorani (Milan) with the original certificate of November 30, 1993, which confirms the authenticity of the postage and cancellations, as well as the originality and perfect preservation of the stamps.

Conditions: excellent, signs of use consistent with travel.
