Description from the seller
A fine set of elegant collectible or display objects, consisting of four lighters (one of which has an additional cigarette/tobacco holder function), made of silver. Of exquisite craftsmanship, I believe all are of Italian origin: these objects immediately attract attention due to their inherent elegance. The well-calibrated sizes make them suitable to enhance any environment, adding a touch of refinement, beauty, and prestige. The fine chasing and careful quality of production, typical of 20th-century design, highlight their collectible and decorative value. These objects represent examples of excellence in the silverware sector.
I am not an expert and I am reporting received information. The set includes the following items, made entirely or partially of silver.
High table lighter: 1960s/70s design, smooth and slender in silver, bearing a punch mark and the trademark "536FI." It is also a cigarette holder or could be a secret compartment. Total weight: 230.7 grams; estimated net weight of silver: approximately 171.9 grams. Dimensions: approximately 16x8x8 cm.
Round table lighter: handcrafted in filigree style. Dimensions: approximately 10x8x8 cm. Total weight: 374.5 grams; estimated silver weight (minus internal weight for stability): about 150 grams (calculated by silversmith).
Ottaviani engraved lighter with 925 silver hallmark. Made entirely of fine wood with a floral silver application stamped with punches, featuring refined chasing. Total weight: approximately 153.8 grams; it is not possible to determine the weight of the silver alone. Dimensions: approximately 7x7.5x5.5 cm. It is electronic, but sometimes it can be lit, other times not. The electronic ignition needs to be set or repaired.
Ottaviani flint lighter stamped with the 925 silver hallmark, made of fine wood, with an application on the upper part in floral silver with stamps, featuring refined chasing. Total weight: approximately 1180.8 grams, but the exact silver weight is not certain. Dimensions: about 67.5 x 7.5 cm. It has manual ignition, but there is no flint or gas, so it needs restoration. I am selling it with a repair clause.
Always keep a 1930s silver matchbox holder with hallmark 800 and another that I cannot distinguish. It is of good quality and has an embossed floral design from the era. Its weight is approximately 24.3 grams, and its dimensions are about 6x4.5x1 cm.
The estimated total net weight of the silver alone for the entire set is approximately 400 grams (s.e. O.), due to the impossibility of precisely determining the net weight of some objects. The overall condition is good, with signs of age, some stains, probable scratches, and minor impacts. The items require cleaning, as shown in the photographs. Please note that the lighters are not functional and need the insertion of flints and gas or other. For reasons of seriousness and because I am not aware of their actual operational status, and to avoid inconvenience, they are sold as objects to be repaired or for display/collection.
The shipment will be carried out via a well-known tracked and insured courier, with packaging carried out with professional care.
