Amulet of dwarf or child-like adult ('Pataikos'), thought to protect from being bitten by crocodiles, snakes, scorpions and similar creatures.
Size: 4.5 cm H - 1 3/4 inch
Material: Faience
Culture: Egypt, Ptolemaic Period, c. 300 B.C.
Condition: Intact

Provenance: The Peter Newall (1945 – 2018) Collection. Ex Duke’s Auctioneers, UK.
