Description from the seller

Lovely Figurine/statue by Hummel,
Collector's item!
This charming 1970s Hummel figurine is titled "Little Drummer" and depicts a young boy marching along with a snare drum hanging around his neck and drumsticks in his hands. He is dressed in short pants and suspenders worn over a long-sleeved light blue shirt. The shirt is decorated with red polka dots that match his red necktie. He wears long gray socks that rise nearly to his knees and short black boots with a low heel.

The figurine is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The square base is impressed with the signature of Sister M.I. Hummel and the side carries an original paper label reading "Little Drummer" printed in blue. The figurine stands 4.25" tall and the base measures 1.625" by 1.625". It is approximately 1.75" as measured across the boy's elbows and 2.5" from the back of the base to the front of the boy's left boot.
The underside bears Hummel's TMK-5 "Last Bee" mark used between 1972-1979 reading "Geobel W Germany" and also has the impressed numbers "240" and "1955". The piece also has a decorator mark painted in black.

The piece is a discontinued item, which makes it a sought-after item for collectors.

With a serial number.
No cracks, chips, crazing or repairs.
