Artemide Grande Mania wall lamp in polycarbonate with a white metal-mounted base, designed by Vico Magistretti, dating from the 1960s–1970s, with two E14 lamp holders, original wiring and holders, bulbs not included, in good used condition and tested to be working.
Description from the seller
Artemide wall lamp, model Grande Mania in polycarbonate, designed by Vico Magistretti.
In good overall condition, with normal, minor signs of age and wear. The lamp has been tested and is working.
Number of fittings 2 for E14 bulb, original wiring and lamp holder; white painted metal base.
Bulbs not included.
One of the first lamps designed by Vico Magistretti, Mania was presented at the 13th Milan Triennale (1964), although the project dates back to 1963, the year when production began with Artemide (in the Studio Artemide collection, the first collection of artisanal lamps by Artemide, from 1960 to 1979).
The diffuse light lamp, to be wall-mounted with a painted metal fitting, consists of two semi-spherical caps of different sizes, partially overlapping, and opaline. Magistretti immediately expressed interest in exploring lighting effects created through the balanced composition of simple, partially interchangeable geometric shapes: the lower diffuser of the Grande Mania model was actually the same upper diffuser used in Mania. Present in the 1972 company catalog in two versions, Mania and Grande Mania, the lamp features a size difference: the 24 cm diameter becomes 28 cm in the Grande Mania version, and the projection from the wall increases from 10 cm to 14 cm.
Please review the photographic gallery carefully, as it is an integral part of the description, to avoid any unpleasant misunderstandings.
Careful packaging and shipping with tracking.
