Magnificent set of five antique frames, crafted from genuine ebony wood, finely carved in a 19th-century neo-baroque style. Each frame features rich ornamental work: floral motifs, elegant curves, and symmetrical elements characteristic of the Victorian and Napoléon III styles.

Wood: handcrafted solid ebony (front face)

Two: classic wooden back panels (not ebony), in excellent condition.

Glass: all the glasses have been recently replaced, new and transparent.

Photos: vintage portrait photographs on old paper, probably from the late 19th to early 20th century.

Composition :
Two large frames, 27 x 19.5 cm: portraits of a woman and a couple in wedding attire.

Two medium-sized frames, 18 x 12.5 cm: portraits of a man and a woman.

1 decorative element (green apple not included) used here to provide a reference scale.

State:
Very good overall condition, despite the age of its parts.

A few minor functional defects that are not visible, related to the adjustment of the rear wood or the holding system, without impact on aesthetics or structure.
