A striking pair of heavy bookends from the Art Deco period (circa 1925-1935).
The design features a classic modernist geometric shape with clean lines and stepped angles, typical of the architecture of the Roaring Twenties.
They are crafted from a combination of contrasting natural stones (polychrome marble) of Belgian origin. The composition features a warm beige fossil marble base, a dominant vertical slab of red marble (resembling Rouge Royal), and a contrasting black marble block at the front.
A stylish and timeless addition to any desk, bookshelf, or Art Deco interior.
