Drawing of the legendary animator Richard Williams (1933-2019)! (Dated 1977).
The great animator Richard Williams (1933 - 2019) attended a birthday party at the home of legendary animator Art and Barbera Babbitt in the fall of 1977. In attendance were many of Art's friends, including numerous fellow animation workers. After dinner, Mr. Williams began drawing characters that he and other guests at the party had worked on. The character is drawn on 12" x 10" (12 field) 3-peghole animation paper. At the end of the party, he gave these drawings to Art Babbitt's stepdaughter, Laurel James. You can see the letter detailing the evening's events for her; it is NOT included in this lot. The drawings show minor handling and edge wear. Condition is Very Good.
