Thinking about the war as paper became increasingly scarce, the editors of 'Soir Volé' decided for a few days to continue publishing the 'TINTIN' supplement, but as a 4 or 8-page insert within the newspaper.

The illustrations and Tintin are reduced in size over two pages, then in smaller formats, and finally as a well-known small strip in the Journal du soir.

So this is one of those rare 'Soir Jeunesse' issues, the one from Thursday, April 10, 1941, that is presented in this lot.
