Thinking about the war as paper became increasingly scarce, the editors of 'Soir Volé' decided for a few days to continue publishing the 'TINTIN' supplement, but as a 4 or 8-page insert within the newspaper.

The illustrations and Tintin are reduced in size over two pages, then in smaller formats, and finally as a well-known small strip in the Journal du soir.

So this is one of those rare editions of 'Soir Jeunesse,' the Thursday, January 23, 1941 issue, spanning 8 pages, that is presented in this lot.

Very, very good; condition: no traces of rust, no folds, no tears.
