The cup in the shape of a vase, also called a funnel cup, is intact. During the glazing process, something went wrong; the glaze, from the stoneware, cracked off the substrate due to large temperature fluctuations of the stoneware, with some parts still present. It is interesting for collectors of stoneware and firing processes. Dating from 1550-1630 AD.
Origin produced in Germany near Siegburg. Purchased through the antique dealer LVA in Maastricht. The find is known from the 1980s.
