Obverse: Armored knight with sash, holding a shouldered sword in right hand and the crowned provincial arms suspended from a ribbon before him in left; date split (17–85) across the field.

Reverse: Crowned arms of the United Provinces; mintmark: city arms of Utrecht. Legend: "CONCORDIA.RES.PARVAE.CRESCVNT." (“Unity makes small things grow”).
